Wilma Bryant Locklear age 73 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on May 19, 1952, to the late Willie Bryant and the late Florence Lambert Bryant in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on December 30, 2025, at New Hanover Medical Center, Wilmington, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Locklear, a brother Curt Locklear, four sisters, Linda Hammonds, Virginia Bryant, Ella Jackson, Bonnie Bryant.
Wilma leaves to cherish her memories one son: Jeremy Benson (Alisha) of Maxton, North Carolina, three daughters: Heather Stephens of Parkton, North Carolina, Jan Benson Outlaw (Charles) of Beulaville, North Carolina, Angela Lynn of Eden, North Carolina, one brother: Willie Bryant Jr. of Red Springs, North Carolina, four sisters: Christine Matchett, Myrtis Collins, Delores Locklear all of Red Springs, North Carolina, Myra Farrah of Maxton, North Carolina, twelve grandchildren: Patience, C.J., Dee Jay, Raven, Bryson, Indya, Braxton, Sawyer, Jordyn, Evelyn, Kayelynn, Ayden, one great grandchild: Lincoln, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
