Ms. Willie Faye Locklear Eason, age 83, of 2894 Shaw Road, Parkton, North Carolina was born January 19, 1942 to the late Mr. George Oxendine and Mrs. Ruthie Locklear in Robeson County. She was raised by her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Liza Locklear and grandfather, Mr. Jimmy Locklear. She departed this life into eternity on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in UNC Southeastern Hospital in Lumberton, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her three sons, Kenny Ray Locklear, Henry Clayton Eason, and Bobby Allen Eason, great-granddaughter Annalee Grace Wrench, brothers J. T. Locklear and Mitchell, U. T. Locklear and sister Helen Lombard.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four sons, Donald Ray Locklear, David Eason, JP Phillips of Parkton, North Carolina, and Paul Phillips, of Bethany North Carolina; daughters, Ann Tony Walters and her husband Phillip Walters and Wanda Faye Yergeau and her husband Jay Yergeau, of Falcon, North Carolina; her siblings, Almond Locklear, of Raeford, North Carolina; Hollis Locklear, of Maxton, North Carolina; Carolyn Cummings, of Raeford, North Carolina; and Audrey Keabber, of Pembroke, North Carolina, sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mom will be greatly missed by all her children – “We Love You Mom.”
