Mrs. Wanda Lowery age 59 was born on July 17, 1965, to the late Daniel D. Brooks and Alberta Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on July 30, 2024 at Morning Star Assisted Living in Pembroke, North Carolina. Along with her father she was preceded in death by her husband Therman Lowery and one son Thomas Lowery.

Mrs. Wanda leaves to cherish her memories her mother: Alberta Locklear Brooks of Lumberton, North Carolina, one son: Travis Lowery, one brother: Mitchell Wayne Brooks of Red Springs, North Carolina, two sisters: Sue Carol Brooks of Pembroke, North Carolina, Jackie Lynn Brooks of Durham, North Carolina, several grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
