Virginia Ann Bullard Lowery “Snow White” was born April 2, 1945 to John Willie Bullard and Harriet Locklear Bullard, she departed this earth on March 21, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She is preceded in death by her father and mother. Also brothers, John Willie Bullard Jr., Jacob Locklear, Joseph Locklear and sisters, Claretta Chavis, Unellear Rogers, Kathleen Clark and her son Wayne Lowery.
She leaves behind a daughter, Wanda Lowery and grandson Storm Fields of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and granddaughters, Alyssa Lowery Walters and spouse Sam of Cramerton, North Carolina and Addison Lowery of Lincolnton, North Carolina and great granddaughter, Shelby Kate Walters. Surviving sisters include, Daphne Chavis, Judy Bullard and Helen Jacobs all from Maxton, North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
She grew up in Robeson County and finished school at Hawk Eye and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in late 1967. She was a stay home mother and was very active in her church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She attended Westside Baptist and Paw Creek Church of God in Charlotte and Hoke County Church of God in Red Springs, North Carolina.
