Thomas Lewis Monroe

Thomas Lewis Monroe, son of Maggie Monroe and the late Thomas Jr. Monroe was born March 3, 1961, in Hoke County, North Carolina. He departed this life on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina. He is preceded in death by one son, Travis Graham and one grandson, Jamaris Leak.

Thomas Lewis Monroe leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Dianne Monroe, three daughters, Shandrika Patterson, Cearrow Patterson and Tarrow Patterson, and one son, Markee Leak. He also leaves ten grandchildren, Takiah Patterson, La`niyah Patterson, Chrisley McLaurin, Corshaun Washington, Silas Purcell, Tremel Sinclair, Honastee McLean, Lyrik McArthur, Zachary Leak, and Adonis Leak. Three sisters, Dorothy Monroe Patterson (Michael), Mary Winston (Willie), and Margaret Monroe, and one brother, Bishop Jerry Monroe (Kimberly). He also leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters-in-law, Priscilla McLaurin (Nate), Brenda Blue, and Vivian McMillian, brother-in-law, Prince Patterson (Tarana), nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
