Thelma Cornelia Black Greene

Mrs. Thelma Cornelia Black Greene, age 78 of Fayetteville, North Carolina was born on November 14, 1940 to the late Mr. Jessie Leroy Black, Sr., and the late Mrs. Mary Thelma Haywood Black. She departed this life on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses Grant Greene and  two brothers, Sonny Haywood and Jesse Leroy Black Jr.

Mrs. Greene leaves to cherish her memories; her daughter, Mrs. Kim Brown and husband Hardin Brown Jr., of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Brandt Nicholas Brown and Zoe Gabrielle Brown; four great-grandchildren, Bentley Michael Ray Graham, Curry Lee Campbell, Grace Kennedy Arabella Graham, and Marceline Lilah Brown-Rosasiles. two nephews, Dwayne G. Black of Red Spring, North Carolina; and Jarrel Brown, of Virginia; two brothers-in-law, Floyd Greene and Edward Greene, both of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Mae Sinclair, of Red Springs, North Carolina; special cousin, Gwendolyn Carswell of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one great niece, Annalexia Drew Black; one great-nephew, Andre Malik Brown, a close friend, Wilhelmina Brown, of Lumberton, North Carolina; a host of  cousins, and other relatives and friends.
