Terry Maynor

Terry Maynor, born on March 30, 1968, gained his wings on August 29, 2024, at 11:03 a.m. at the age of 56. A resident of Fayetteville, NC, Terry was the son of Annie Mildred Brown and the late Felton Maynor. Throughout his life, Terry found contentment in the simple, everyday moments that made up his journey.

Terry leaves behind his five wonderful children, Sherica Maynor, Shavon Maynor, Terry Maynor, Jr., Tiara Maynor, and Tamera Maynor, who spent the last few days cherishing as much time with their father as they could. Each of them will hold onto their own memories of him, carrying forward the lessons learned and the moments they shared together. As a grandfather to five grandchildren, he left a lasting impression on the next generation, even if their time together was limited.

He is also survived by his three sisters, Melissa Maynor, Denise Baker, and Teresa Maynor. While not always close, they shared the bond that only siblings can, and they will hold on to the memories of their time together as family.

Terry was known for his calm temperament, good nature and his preference for a simpler life. While he may not have had a large circle of friends, those who knew him appreciated his honest approach to life and his ability to navigate the world in his own way.

 In addition to his immediate family, Terry leaves behind a host of family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be remembered through the experiences they shared together.
