Tenita Buie Obituary

Ms. Tenita Buie age 42 of Red Springs, North Carolina 

On January 26, 1979, God up above allowed his angel Ms. Tenita Lashea Buie to be born into this earthly life to her parents Mr. Ronnie Lee Buie, Sr., and the late Ms. Brenda Johnson Buie at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton North Carolina. On February 12, 2021 God needed her smile, sweet spirit, and kind heart back in the presence of His angels so He called her home to be with Him at Southeastern Regional medical center in Lumberton North Carolina. 

Along with her mother, Ms. Brenda Johnson Buie, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Sabrina Buie. Her paternal grandparents, the late Mr. Jessie McCutchen and Mrs. Mae Eva Buie Patterson and her maternal grandparents, the late Mr. Effie James Johnson and Mrs. Willie Mae Mosley Johnson. 

To know Tenita was to love her, she had love and respect for all people and did not hesitate to greet everyone with a warm loving smile. At an early age Tenita met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as she attended Pilgrim Grove One Accord Holiness Church in Red Springs North Carolina. She later began attending St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center in Red Springs North Carolina under the leadership of her cousin Apostle Anthony and Elect Lady Vanita Buie until her health failed. 

Tenita graduated from Red Springs High School in 1998. After which she worked in the workforce for many years at McDonald’s, Walmart and The Blue Bird Cafe. 

Left to embrace her sweet spirit and loving memories are her children, Sabrina Locklear of Wagram, North Carolina; Dennis Locklear of Red Springs, North Carolina; and George (Little G) Locklear III of Maxton. Her father, Mr. Ronnie Lee Buie of the home, brothers, Ronnie Lee Buie, Jr., of Louisville Kentucky;  Wesley Johnson of Red Springs, North Carolina; and Terrell Gaye of Fayetteville, North Carolina; sisters, Whitney Black of Red Springs, North Carolina and Latrice Gibson Of Laurinburg, North Carolina.  Aunts, Grace McDougald, Rogerlene Mclinahan, Merita Mcmillian, Betty Galbreath, Brenda McEachin and Sylvia Burns all of Red Springs North Carolina. Carolyn Buie of Texas, Angela Smith of Raeford, North Carolina;  Elizabeth Smith, Mae Patterson, Lillie Patterson, Mary Patterson Stephanie Simmons and  Tootie Mosley both of Brooklyn New York.  Uncles, Charles Buie of Maxton, North Carolina; Michael Johnson  and Willie Patterson of Brooklyn New York; Thomas McCutthen of Virginia, Alford Johnson of Fayetteville North Carolina and Jeffrey Patterson, of Red Springs, North Carolina; nieces, Aiyana, Armani, Noel, and Shanija. Nephews, Jakeem, Noaa, and Jeremiah and  a host of other cousins and  relatives and friends.
