She departed this life to eternity on May 05, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Leroy and Evie Emanuel Locklear, her maternal grandparents, Elbert and Margaret Hunt.
