She is preceded in death by her parental grandfather Roy Rice, and maternal grandparents, Lars England and Juanita England.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her father, Earl Rice of Red Springs, North Carolina; mother: Theresa England Locklear of Red Springs, North Carolina; one son, Dorean Brayboy of Red Springs, North Carolina; two daughters, Sequoyah Rice and Shanya Locklear both of Red Springs, North Carolina; five brothers, Joseph Rice, Daniel Rice, Earl Rice Jr, Marcus Shane Locklear Jr all of Red Springs, North Carolina; Dakota Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina; paternal grandparents, Cletis Hunt and Charlie Locklear.
