Sonjie M Lambert

Mrs. Sonjie M. Lambert age 74 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on September 18, 1945 to the late Mrs. Evalena in Cumberland County. She departed this life on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Dean Lambert, one son, Clinton Ray Lambert, one daughter, Barbara Lynn Lambert, three grandchildren, Jesse Ray Locklear, Christopher Michael Lambert and Dakota Lambert, one great-grandchild, Aaliyah Williams.

Mrs. Sonjie loved her family and was always there for them. She help raise her community and always showed her love by helping so many in times of need.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Billy Dean Lambert, Kenneth Lee Hammonds, and Walter Everette Lambert all of Lumberton, North Carolina; three daughters, Brenda Faye Locklear and husband Lloyd Jr of St. Pauls, North Carolina; Peggy Locklear and husband Huey of Shannon, North Carolina; Melissa Walsh and husband Thomas of Shannon, North Carolina; four special grandchildren that she raised as her own: Rodney Lambert, Dwayne Hunt, Yanta Hunt, Annie Lambert, twenty one grandchildren, thirty five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
