Sannie Ree Collins

Mrs. Sannie Ree Collins was born on March 16, 1947, to the late James and Stella Anderson. She departed this life for her heavenly home on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Stella Anderson; her brothers, Carlton Anderson and Elmore Anderson; and her sisters, Letha Mae Jones and Shirley Lowery.

Mrs. Sannie Collins was blessed with 53 years of marriage to the love of her life, the late Larry Collins. Their union was graced with two sons: the late James Brian Collins (Carol) and Dr. Paul Collins (Penny).

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son Dr. Paul Collins (Penny), along with their sons, Zachery, Noah, and Adam. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol Collins, with grandchildren, Cierra (Rylan) Blackhorse and Christian Collins, her brother, Ronald Anderson (Diane). Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Atalie Reese Blackhorse and Emris Collin Blackhorse.

Mrs. Sannie was blessed with the love and companionship of two special friends, Sister Judy Jacobs and Sister Faye Bullard, who held a dear place in her heart.

A special recognition is given to Mrs. Jacqueline Lowery, Joe Lowery, Lenease Lowery, and Quintalyn Collins for their unwavering devotion and care for my mother. Your kindness, compassion, and dedication have meant the world to our family. We are truly blessed to have you in our lives, and we appreciate all that you have done.
