Mr. Samuel Glenn Pevia (Sammy) age 63 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on May 29, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Ellison (Tee) and Edna Pevia. He departed this life on February 09, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Paula, Ramona (Fuzzy) and Cheryl, one brother, Ellison Jr. (Pappy), Niece Jauana Sinclair Pevia and great nephew Nicholas Bullard (Nick).
Sammy was a jack of all trades from the junk yard with his father and brothers to a handy man of anything.
Sammy leaves to cherish his memories two sisters: Melissa of the home and Tammy of Pembroke, North Carolina, one brother: Tony of the home, four nieces: Deanna (Dee Dee), Michelle, Talia and Cierra, five nephews: Keith, Charles, Daniel, Jeremy and Ellison III (Trouble), great nephew: Christopher that would walk through the door just to grab his feet and get Sammy to fussing, ( boy leave me alone my legs are hurting), special nurse Taylor of Gentiva Hospice, two special people: Elouise Oxendine (Big E), ( can you fix me something to drink or something to eat) and Robert Oxendine ( put me some ice in my cup with something to drink), and a host of many other relatives and friends that loved him.
