Mr. Rufus Jacobs age 69 of Marston, North Carolina formerly of Robeson County was born on October 07, 1950 to the late Mr. S.M. Jacobs and Mrs. Ozella Strickland Barrow in Greenville South Carolina. He departed this life to eternal rest Saturday November 09, 2019 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Illa Mae.

Mr. Rufus leaves to cherish his memories four daughters: Crystal Lynn Clark (Ronnie) of Prospect, North Carolina; Sherrie Futrell of Charlotte, North Carolina; Kasey Mae Hunt (Garrick) of Shannon, North Carolina; and Kelley Lynn Locklear (Cameron) of Pembroke, North Carolina; one son, Michael Jacobs of Maxton, North Carolina, his mother, Mrs Ozella Strickland Barrow of Spartanburg, South Carolina. one brother, Billie Jacobs of Marston, North Carolina. two sisters, Patsy Jacobs of Red Springs, North Carolina, and Carol Ann Jacobs of Rockingham, North Carolina; fifteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
