A Loving Farewell
Mr. Roy Willis Scippio age 77, of Red Springs, North Carolina was born March 6, 1947 in Robeson County, North Carolina to the late Mr. Leroy Scippio and the late Mrs. Ophelia Mack Scippio of Red Springs, North Carolina. Roy and his siblings were raised by their aunt Beulah McNeill after the untimely passing of their parents. Roy was called to eternal rest Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Genesis Healthcare, Pembroke, North Carolina. A sister, Miss Hazel Scippio, three brothers, Mr. Mikey Scippio, Mr. George Scippio and Mr. Charles Scippio preceded him in death.
Roy was happily married to Henrietta Elsie Febrez from June 15, 1970.- Sept 1999 and from their union four beautiful children were created. Dearly departed Michael Willis Febrez (R.I.P.), Roy Scippio Jr. (also known as Tiny), Steven Vincent Scippio-Shabazz and Makiba Rene' Scippio. Roy leaves behind a total of five grandchildren. Kiyanni Williams, Rasaan Scippio, Inayah Scippio, Jamarii Scippio and Londyn Scippio, three brothers, Levern Scippio and Ronald Scippio (Felica) both of Red Springs, North Carolina, and Glenn Scippio, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, three sisters, Bertha Coleman (Carson), Audrey Scippio and his devoted caregiver, Rhonda Scippio, all of Red Springs, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Roy's family, loves and misses him dearly and will continue to represent the second and third generation Scippio's with pride and honor. Roy's favorite quote,“Que pasa Amigo”
