Obituary
Mrs. Rosa Bell Woods age 94 of Shannon, North Carolina was born on October 28, 1928 to the late Mr. Lawrence and Mrs. Anna Woods. She departed this life into eternity on May 20, 2023, at FirstHealth Hospice House in West End, North Carolina surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her children's father, Wilbert Oxendine, son, Richard E. Cummings and infant daughter, Linda Oxendine.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children Mrs. Shirley Cooper (Autry), Brenda Jacobs, Tony Oxendine (Pam), Jeanene Criss (Ken) and Johnny Woods. Brothers, Donald R. Roosevelt and Delton Woods. Sisters, Blondell Lowery, Dottie R. Woods, Katrina Woods, and Jessie B. Hunt. 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to recognize a special niece and nephew who held a special place in her life and heart: Linda Sue Oxendine and Don. M. Woods Jr.
