Rodney Chavis

Mr. Rodney Chavis age 53, of Maxton, North Carolina the son of the late Mr. Thurmond Chavis and Mrs. Daphia Carol Bullard Chavis was born on December 24, 1966 and departed this life on Tuesday, January 07, 2020 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Along with his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Lee Chavis.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Daphia Bullard Chavis of Maxton, North Carolina; his fiancee, Amanda Locklear of the home; two daughters, Christina Chavis (Neil) of Maxton, North Carolina and Mya Chavis (Lorisha) of Red Springs, North Carolina; four sons, Jamin Chavis of Maxton, North Carolina; Jonah Chavis of Red Springs, North Carolina; Richard Locklear, and Austin Locklear both of Maxton, North Carolina;  two sisters, Robin Cunnington (Neal) of Raeford, North Carolina and Jaylen Bryant of Maxton, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Jusyah Barton, Alana Chavis, Kaylie Chavis, Colton Chavis, Serenity Chavis and Kenzie Marie Chavis and a host of other family and friends.
