Robert Wayne Locklear age 63 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on May 2, 1962, to the late Vick Locklear and Clarise Locklear. He departed this life to his heavenly home on August 17, 2025. In Addition, to his father and mother he was also preceded in death by his wife Martha H. Locklear, four brothers, Rodney Locklear, Tony Locklear, Kenny Locklear, and Dean Martin Locklear, one grandson Greyson Hoyle Jones.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories two daughters: Crystal Locklear and Wanda Locklear both of Maxton, North Carolina, one son: Robert Wayne Locklear II of Maxton, North Carolina, one stepdaughter: Sabrina Oxendine of Maxton, North Carolina, fifteen grandchildren, three sisters: Margie Castro (Servando Sr.) and Daisy Bullard of Maxton, North Carolina, Lula Pevia (Rev. Rickey) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, five brothers: twin Richard Blayne Locklear, Berdie Bullard (Barbara), Kenneth Locklear all of Maxton, North Carolina, Roger Locklear of Lumberton, North Carolina, Vick Locklear of Charlotte, North Carolina, special friends: Apple Dumplin, Gordon Leech and Watoshia Emanuel, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
