Mr. Ricky Lynn Godfrey age 25 was born on April 26, 1998, in Sanford, North Carolina. He departed this life on October 19, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina.

Ricky loved his children. He had a passion for deer hunting and fishing. He loved cars and enjoyed living life. 

Ricky is survived by his mother: Crystal Hall, and his loving grandmother: Rachel L. Ammons, two loving kids: Oakley Ryan Godfrey and Olivia Jean Godfrey, his sisters: Leslie Allen and Christy Reberger, a brother: Julian Ammons, a lifelong friend: Trey Horne, the mother of his two children for seven years: Shelby Snead and a dear friend: Morgan Locklear, uncle: Ronald and aunt: Wanda Clark, cousin: Justin P. Clark, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Ricky will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
