Mr. Ricky Lowery was born on January 18, 1971, to his father Mr. Donnie Lowery and late Mrs. Margaret Fields in Scotland County. He departed this earthly life on August 17, 2023 at his home in the Allenton Community, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his mother he is preceded in death by his father Allen Ray Fields (Noot), brother, Donnie Lowery Jr and a dear friend Chris Chavis.
Ricky was a professional electrician all of his life. Everyone knew him as " Slick Rick" he was always lending a helping hand to anyone at anytime. Always stopped by to visit family and friends. Ricky loved his life but most of all his kids and grandkids..
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his one and only daughter, Diamond Lowery, "Dad's Girl" (Bobby), six sons, Malachi Lowery, Corey Lowery, Jace Lowery, Forever Lowery, Cage Whittemore and Matthew McGirt, his biological father, Donnie Lowery (Tammy), brothers, Anthony Lowery, Terry Huggins, Mark Locklear, sister, Cheryl Lowery (Jimmie). a special friend that has truly stood by him the past two years Sheila Hardin.
Ricky has eight grandkids that loved their Papa, Jaylan Lowery, Malayah Lowery, Maleyah Lowery, and a new bundle of Joy Malachi Skye. Shlan Ray, Sahava Avyanna, Rileigh Jayanna (Pa's Ribug) and a special grandson Skyler Locklear (Sky High). A host of other relatives and friends. Allenton Community will not be the same without Ricky Lowery. Rest Easy Slick.
