Rev. Winford Blue

Rev. Winford Blue age 91 of Wagram, North Carolina departed this life into eternity on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Scotland Regional Hospice. He was born on November 6, 1933, to the late Lacy and Rose Blue in Hoke County, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Sallie Blue, two sons, Herman Blue and Lynn Blue, two daughters, Barbara Holmes and Betty Locklear. four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one sister, Rosie Lee Cooper, three brothers, Joseph Blue, James Earl Blue, Daniel (Bossman) Blue.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Jimmy Blue and wife Mickey of Raeford, North Carolina; two daughters, Rosie Justice and Emma Hatley both of Wagram, three brothers: Lacy Blue Jr, Reese Blue, Clyde Blue all of Raeford, North Carolina; five sisters: Blondie Blue, Dora Lee Oxendine, both of Raeford, North Carolina; Annie Henderson of Shannon, North Carolina, Mizay Mae Fields of Red Springs, North Carolina; Bonnie Porterfield of Southern Pines, North Carolina; half-brothers, David Mac Blue, Kenny Blue, Isaiah Blue all of Maxton, North Carolina; half-sister, Mary Elizabeth Blue, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, twenty great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
