Rev. Jimmie Lee Bartley age 76 of Harrisburg, North Carolina was born on October 12, 1947, to the late Mr. Raymond Bartley and Mrs. Bertha L. Nance in Robeson County. He departed this life into his heavenly home on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at his home. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers, Sevaston Bartley, James Bartley, Junior (Money) Hunt, Jerry Bartley and Stoney Ray Bartley; two sisters, Rose Hunt and Lois Carter.
He was the pastor of Harrisburg Baptist Church for many years and pastor at Harmony Baptist Church for the last 30 years and 9 months. He led many to the Lord, counseled many in their time of need, brought many together in marriage and laid them to rest, he will be Missed By All!!!
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Diane Chavis Bartley of the home; one daughter, Angie Bartley-Wall (Chad) of Edisto Island, South Carolina; one son, Jimmie (Chris) Bartley of Harrisburg, North Carolina; special niece raised by Rev. Jimmie & Diane, Tammy Bartley Terry (Lester) of Indian Land, South Carolina; two brothers, William Bartley (Sharon) of Indiana; and Michael Lewis of Harrisburg, North Carolina; one sister, Ramylee Mayers (Howard) of Pembroke, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Cierra Wall of Kaneohe, Hawaii; Tanner Gulledge of Kannapolis, North Carolina; Kode Lee Bartley; Carolina Terry and Noah Terry both of Indian Land, South Carolina; Jordan Bralley (John) of Madison, Wisconsin; and Gaines Bralley of Columbia, South Carolina; one great-grandchild, his church family and a host of other relatives and friends.
