Randy Edward Locklear, 30, of 857 John L. Rd, Maxton, NC 28364, slipped into eternity on February 22, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Bullard; maternal grandfather, David Lambert; aunt, Shirlene Lambert; and cousin, Cashley Scott, his paternal grandfather, James Edward “Jimmy” Locklear. Randy was followed in death by his beloved papa, Daughtry "Jerry" Bell, on February 25, 2025.
Randy is survived by his only son, Zaydon Locklear and Zaydon’s mother, Delana Strickland, his father, Edward Freeman Locklear; and his paternal grandmother, Rebecca Bell, maternal grandmother Annie Lambert. He is also remembered by his only sister, Misty Rowsey(Thomas), five brothers, Justin Bullard, John Bullard, Brandon (Sakesta) Bullard, all of Pembroke, Harley Jones (Kasey) of Red Springs, Ryan Yannick, of North Dakota. Randy leaves behind a loving extended family including his aunts and uncles: Glenda Jacobs, Flora Locklear, Anita Locklear, Connie (Daniel) Katekovich, Albert(Angie) Locklear, Sandy Lambert, Tonya Lambert, Dale Lambert, and Terry Locklear. He is also survived by his “special” mother figure, Sherry Locklear and a special friend, Jessica Revels, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly. Randy was known to all who met him for his kindness, friendly nature, and a heart full of love. His passion for outdoor activities, and fishing with his son, was well known. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his son, Zaydon. Randy’s big heart and vibrant spirit will be missed by everyone who knew him.
