Patricia, affectionately known as Pat, leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Ronald Maynor. Married for 49 years, she loved him unconditionally, and was an example of all that God calls for in a wife.

She also leaves behind a daughter, Stacy Maynor Godwin (Cory Godwin), grandchildren, Sariya Julian McPhaul, Jace Anthony Godwin, Olivia Ann Godwin, her one great grandchild, Nakoya Markus Maynor, II, and son in law William McPhaul.

Patricia was a devoted mother to her daughter, Tish Reon Maynor, and her grandson, Nakoya Markus Maynor, who both preceded her in death.

Patricia was the oldest daughter in a family of six siblings, most of whom she helped to raise with lots of, love, patience, and humility. She leaves behind her sister and brothers: Ronald Anderson (Diane), Lynn Jones (Carol), Barbara Bell, and Chris Jones (Amy). She was preceded in death by her sister Angenal Hammonds, her parents, Carl and Letha Jones, her sister in law, Annette Maynor and mother in law, Eulla Bullard. She also leaves behind her sisters in law, Della Maynor and Debbie Maynor, brother in law, Rayburn Maynor, and a host of nieces, nephews, two special caretakers, Lenease Lowery and Cora Faye Locklear, and other relatives and friends.

Patricia was a proud Lumbee Indian with a talent for making Native American Arts and Crafts, specializing in making turtle bags. She spent years traveling to powwows and also visiting schools, teaching students about Native American traditions, art, and history. Patricia graduated from Prospect School in 1973. She was also a member of Dundarrach Baptist Church for many decades, serving as a Sunday School teacher, a member of the WMU, and other committees, singing and mentoring, and serving in whatever capacity was needed. She and her husband, Ronald taught the marriage retreat for Dundarrach Baptist for many years.

Patricia bravely fought the battle of cancer until to the very end. Today though, there is no more pain and suffering. Now she is walking with the Lord, but she will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
