Mr. Parnell Locklear age 74 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on December 16, 1948, to the late D C Locklear and the late Betty Oxendine Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on November 4, 2023, at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Derick Locklear, six brothers Franklin Locklear, Panuel Locklear, Kenneth Locklear, Jerry Gene Locklear, Dan Dee Locklear, Gerald Locklear, four sisters Donnie Brooks, Shirley Gutierrez, Vergie Butler, Patsy Locklear.
Mr. Parnell leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Joanie Maynor Locklear, two sons: Eric Locklear (Sasha) of St. Pauls, North Carolina, Larry Bullins of Shannon, North Carolina, four daughters: Erica Locklear of St. Pauls, North Carolina, Jennifer Bullins of Red Springs, North Carolina, Kimberly Bullins, Amiya Hall both of Parkton, North Carolina, one sister: Betty Ann Carter of Virginia, eight grandchildren: Eric Jr. Locklear, Quentin Locklear, Samantha Locklear, Larry Bullins, Derrick Jr. McRae, Timothy McRae, Josten Johnson, Jerimiah Johnson, four great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
