He departed this life into eternity on October 25, 2025. Along with his father he is preceded in death by his sister, Yasmine Locklear, his grandfathers, Tony Locklear, James Earl Locklear, great-grandparents, Nancy Lowery, Furman and Martha Locklear.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Crystal Locklear Carter of Red Springs, North Carolina; four sisters, Hannah Carter, Destiny Carter, Ariana Locklear all of Red Springs, North Carolina, Destiny Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina; one stepbrother, Damien Revels of Pembroke, North Carolina; grandmothers, Betty Hunt and Joann Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina. great-grandmother, Cletis Hunt of Pembroke, North Carolina; uncles, Steve "Whitie" Locklear (Jeannia), Tony Locklear Jr, Cleveland Locklear, J. R. Jacobs, Timothy Jacobs, Mekatda Lee Mckoy, aunts, Nekema Locklear, Kayla Nicole Locklear Hunt, special cousins, Little Man, Scottie Locklear, special nephews, Jaxton Lee Singletary, Kolson Gray Singletary, his girlfriend: Jada Locklear, and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
