Mr. James Russell (Jim) Blevins

Mr. James Russell (Jim) Blevins age 72 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on March 25, 1947 to the late Mr. Everette Blevins and the late Mrs. Vera Jo Blevins in Johnston County. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one son Jeffrey Wade Blevins, brother, Larry Blevins, two sisters, Joann Snell and Brenda Long.  

Mr. James proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Linda Locklear Blevins of the home; one son James Kenneth Blevins (Christina) of Maxton, North Carolina; two daughters, Anita Rose Allen (Rodney) of Pembroke, North Carolina and Cecilia Locklear (Julie) of Rockingham, North Carolina; six sisters Molly May of Starke Florida; Betty Bowen of Florida, Connie Dodson of Polk City Florida, Debbie Johnson of Lakeland, Florida; Minnie Brady of Lakeland, Florida; and Sue Searberry of Lexington, Kentucky; two brothers, Everette Blevins of Polk City Florida and Ricky Blevins of Greenville Tennessee;  nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
