Mitchell Wayne Brooks

Mr. Mitchell Wayne Brooks age 55 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on August 12, 1969, to the late Daniel D. Brooks and Mrs. Alberta Locklear Brooks in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on August 28, 2024, at his residence. Along with his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Brooks, two sisters, Teresa Locklear and Wanda Lowery.

Mr. Mitchell had an open-door policy: "All was welcomed in his home". He always had a kind word and advice for the kids in the neighborhood. 

Mr. Mitchell leaves to cherish his memories his wife, friend and the love of his life: Mrs. Doreen Scott Brooks of the home, his mother: Alberta Brooks of Lumberton, North Carolina, two sisters: Sue Brooks of Pembroke, North Carolina and Jackie Brooks of Durham, North Carolina, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Uncle Mitch as he was called will be missed by both families, the Brooks and the Scotts, to all who meet him, he will always be the things that legends are made of.
