Melvin Jones

Melvin Jones aka Mike Jones age 67 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on October 28, 1956, to the late Guy Jones and the late Annie Clark Jones in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on January 17, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Melvin worked in Brick Masonry for many years. He loved being with family with a good wash pot cooking. He was the life of every event. He also loved being outdoors on the riverbank, whether it be catfishing or coon hunting.

Melvin leaves behind four sisters and two brothers, two very close friends that became family, Onyas and Vanessa, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

In the famous words of Melvin aka Mike Jones:" I'll never tell" & "Been there, done that, done that, been there".
