Master Daylon Michael Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, precious son of Damian Locklear and Shania Jacobs was born on March 27, 2020 in Scotland County. He departed this life on March 29, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents Grandford and Harvelane Locklear, maternal great grandfather Ervin Locklear.

Master Daylon leaves to cherish his memories his father Damian Locklear and mother Shania Jacobs, his sister Shanya Locklear, paternal grandmother Gwen Locklear, maternal grandmother Demetrice Locklear, great grandmother Virgie Locklear, his aunts Lynn Jacobs and Erin Jacobs, his uncle Wyatt Oxendine and a host of other relatives and friends.
