Mrs. Mary Rose Sanderson age 82 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on January 25, 1942, to the late Dock Locklear and the late Mattie Bell Bullard Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life into eternity on Thursday, August 01, 2024, at Atrium Hospital in Pineville, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Tracy Sanderson, and three daughters Imagene Jones, Jacquline "Jackie" Deese and Donna Lynn Sanderson.

Mrs. Mary leaves to cherish her memories five daughters: Jennifer Locklear (Orson), Rose Mary Sullivan (Randy) all of Red Springs, North Carolina, Becky Sanderson, Bonnie Sue Clark (Teddy), Sara Sanderson all of Maxton, North Carolina, two brothers: Kermit Locklear and Winford Locklear (Diane) all of Maxton, North Carolina, two sisters: Savanna Clark (Donald) of Maxton, North Carolina, Vera Webber of Laurinburg, North Carolina, twenty-six grandchildren, fifty-four great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
