Mae Bell Locklear

Mrs. Mae Bell Locklear age 81 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on July 24, 1942, to the late Demery Oxendine and the late Nellie Dunn in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life at her home on January 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cordell Locklear and her brother Troy Oxendine.

Mrs. Locklear is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Claudette Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina, Mrs. Rita Goins (Johnny) of Maxton, North Carolina, one son: Mr. Junior Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina, two sisters: Mrs. Mary F. Locklear and Mrs. Annie R. Lewis (J. Franklin), one brother: John G. Oxendine (Felesia), of Pembroke, North Carolina, one grandson: Jeremiah Goins of Maxton, North Carolina, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
