Little Joe Porter

Little Joe Porter was born on October 5, 1966, to the late Ivory Porter and the late Nettie Blenn Locklear Porter in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on Friday, October 11, 2024, at New Hanover Medical Center, Wilmington, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandmother, Mary Locklear, and paternal grandparents, Mathis Porter and Pridi Ree Porter.

Little Joe is survived by his brother: Will Porter, of Fayetteville, North Carolina. 

Sisters: Angela Porter, and Ronnie Porter, of Pembroke, North Carolina.

Six nieces and nephews, one grandnephew, a special uncle, Charles Locklear, and one aunt, Sue Johnson, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
