Mrs. Linda Locklear age 72 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on March 27, 1952, to the late Lewis Locklear and the late Pearlie Mae Bullard Locklear Brooks in Hoke County, North Carolina. She departed this life on February 18, 2025, at the Angel House, Whiteville, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Ashton Locklear, her siblings, Dorothy, Sarah, Larry, Lewis Jr., and Stacy.

Mrs. Linda leaves to cherish her memories her husband: Michael Locklear, three sons: Mitchael Ryan Locklear (Karen), Chico Locklear, Timothy Locklear, two daughters: Tammy Locklear (James), Tina Locklear (Lonnie), one brother: David Locklear, four sisters: Janice Locklear, Carolyn Locklear, Pearlie Locklear, Lillian Cummings, four grandchildren: Chelsey Lynn (Gustin), Edward (Patricia), Lyndsey (Bruce), Lonnie Jr., six great grandchildren: Daniyah "Tooda", Gabriel, Riley, Kashton, Grayson, Loki, a special nephew: Christopher Locklear, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
