Kayden Delynn Dial

Kayden Delynn Dial age 10 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born in New Hanover County on December 15, 2013 and departed this life into his heavenly home on April 20, 2024, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, North Carolina.

He is preceded in death by his aunt, Melissa Locklear, uncle, Vincent Locklear, great-grandmother Betty Locklear, great-grandparents, Robert Hahn and Ann Swain Hahn, great-grandfather, Gerri Pennington, great aunt, Linda Huntley.

Kayden was a 4th grade student at Peterson Elementary School in Red Springs, North Carolina. He enjoyed going to school and making friends. Kayden also loved playing with Hot wheel toys, PlayStation and fishing. He was the go-to person for the family. He was oldest of his siblings but the smallest of them all. He loved all his family but his sisters were his safe haven. His big smile will forever be missed by family and friends.

 He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother and father, Alyssa Grotzinger and Sherwood Locklear III of the home, one brother, Lakomah Locklear, three sisters, Kaylin Dial, Aylena and Sakarie Locklear all of the home. grandparents: Colt and Trisha Locklear, Peggy Locklear and Sherwood Locklear Jr, Joseph and Angie Grotzinger. great-grandparents: Don and Laura Hudson, John and Karen Tartt, Carson Locklear, Brenda Locklear. uncles: Easton Oxendine, Joshual Locklear, Shane Locklear, Jordan Locklear, Adante Locklear. aunts, Navaeh Locklear, Makayla Locklear, Haylynn Locklear, Madison Grotzinger, Ayiana Locklear, Anesia Locklear, Charisma Locklear, Vickie Castrejon. Along with very special friends Gracie Locklear, Tylik McRae, Roman Locklear, Siah Lowery and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
