Mrs. Joyce Jacobs, age 78, of 4098 Laurinburg Road, Raeford, North Carolina was born on December 21, 1938 to her parents, the late Mr. Willie Jacobs, Jr., and the late Mrs. Cannon Oxendine Jacobs in Robeson County, North Carolina. She entered into her heavenly home on Friday, March 17, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.  Joyce  was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Felton Jacobs, one son, Elery Jacobs and granddaughter, Relexia Jacobs, four brothers and two sisters.

Homegoing Service for Mrs. Joyce Jacobs will be held at 3:00pm Monday, March 20, 2017 at Hoke County Holiness Church, Red Springs, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the Hoke County Holiness Church Cemetery, Red Springs, North Carolina.   Rev. Gene Truman Chavis and Rev. Oscar Henderson, officiating.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Felton Jacobs, Jr., (Patty) and Robbie Jacobs (Cherry), all of Red Springs, North Carolina; four daughters, Nobalene Locklear (Jimmy), of Raeford, North Carolina; Etula Chance(Stephen), of Bunn-Level, North Carolina; Nancy Denise Jacobs (Dewayne), of Raeford, North Carolina; her baby, Chasity Lynn Locklear (Jerry), of the home.  two stepdaughters, Linda Kimmel and Marilyn Oxendine, one brother, Wilkie Oxendine, 27 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild , a special friend, William Purcell (Pete) and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home Red Springs, North Carolina.
