Joseph Thomas Jones Sr.

Mr. Joseph Thomas Jones age 71 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on December 25, 1949 to the late Mr. Laddie Jones and the late Mrs. Christine Locklear Jones in Robeson County. He departed this life into eternity on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Morrison Manor Hospice in Scotland County. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Carrie Campbell Jones, daughter, Ashley Carol Jones, brother, Roy Locklear, sister, Mickey Jones, three grandchildren, Nolan Locklear, Baby Henderson, Miracle Olivia Faith Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Joseph Jones Jr, (Gail) of Maxton, North Carolina; three daughters, Sandra Faye Jones of Rowland, North Carolina; Christie Mae Jones, Heather Dawn Jones Sanders ( Jonathan) all of Lumberton, North Carolina; eight brothers, Humphrey Jones and Lonzo Jones of Rowland, North Carolina; Herbert Jones, Clonnie Jones, Shelton Jones, Harold D. Jones, Larry Wayne Jones all of Maxton, North Carolina; Ted Lowery of Lumberton, North Carolina; five sisters,  Lottie Locklear, Leila Carol Locklear, and Mary Smilings all of Maxton, North Carolina; Jewel Marie Clark of Pembroke, North Carolina, Susan Ann Cooper of Red Springs, North Carolina, a special cousin Tony Ray Jones of Raeford, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
