Janet Renea Locklear

Mrs. Janet Renea Locklear age 49 of Shannon, North Carolina was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, North Carolina. She was born May 8, 1972, to the late William Edward Locklear (Sue), Regina M. Locklear (Susie), and Donald Lowery (Duckie). Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two nephews, Kolton Locklear and William Edward Brian Locklear, her maternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Genora Locklear. Her paternal grandparents, Willie Mack and Beulah Locklear, A son-in-law, Ricky Wynn, A stepfather, Ray Hunt, and a niece, Santana Barton.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, niece, and friend. The love she showed to others was a true example, "to know her was to love her".

She is survived by her husband Brian Anthony McQuigg of the home. Her son Frankie A. Jones (Kayla) of Pembroke, Three daughters, Jenie Sue Pierce (Aaron), Diana Lou Jones, Ana Jones (Uriah), all of Lumberton, North Carolina Eighteen grandchildren. Two brothers, Anthony Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina, and Sim Bryan Locklear (Mickey) of Lumberton North Carolina. Three special friends, Tao Lowery, Ali Pierce, and Donna Jacobs, and a host of other relatives and friends.
