Jalayah Amaria Cousar

Baby Jalayah Amaria Cousar, of Rowland, North Carolina was born November 23, 2023 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, North Carolina and departed this life on Saturday, November 25, 2023.  She is preceded in death by a great grandmother, Joann Werrell.

Baby Jalayah is survived by her mother, Katrina A. McKoy and father, Jeremy Cousar, one sister, Jaevah Cousar and one brother, Miles Cousar, of Rowland, North Carolina. Grandparents, Deidra Werrell and Franklin McKoy, Michael and Opal Miles, all of Rowland, North Carolina, great grandparents, Jessie and Annie Watson of Rowland, North Carolina, uncles, Franklin McKoy, Jr., Patrick McKoy, and Michael Miles aunts, Precious McKoy, Asia McKoy Khadijah McKoy and Angel Grayson, Great aunts, Kathy Strickland, India Locklear, April Watson and Pamela Southern, great uncles, Ronnie Strickland, Issac Werrell (Mellisa) and Les Werrell and  a host of other family members.
