Irene Barbara Heffernan

Mrs. Irene Barbara Heffernan age 70 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on November 29, 1952, to the late Donald Bannon Sr. and the late Hannelore Compton in Giessen, Germany. She departed this life on May 08, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two sons Thomas Bannon and Brian Bannon, a brother Michael Bannon. 

Mrs. Irene leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Christopher Duffie (Rachel) Batesville, Mississippi, David Cranford Jr. (Brittany) of Fort Smith, Arkansas, two daughters: Lisa McMillian (Ricky), Laura Thomas all of Red Springs, North Carolina, four brothers: Ronald Bannon, Gerald Bannon both of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Donald Bannon, Jr., of Raleigh, North Carolina, Robert Bannon of Lake Wales, Florida, one sister: Rosemarie Krug of Germany, fourteen grandchildren: Brian Duffie, Travis Duffie, Leah Cranford, Alyssa McMillian, Kaitlyn McMillian, Salena McMillian, Danny Thomas, Tristan Thomas, Abigail Loughran, Trey Cranford, Meagan Cranford, Nathaniel Cranford, Emma Cranford, Alexis Cranford, six great grandchildren: Liam Duffie, Beau Duffie, Jamal Underwood, Jr., Julian Underwood, Jasper Underwood, Sophia Vanderwerf, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
