Mrs. Helen Mershell Teague age 80 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on June 09, 1940 in Robeson County to the late Mr. Hubert Locklear and Mrs.Ethel Mae Jacobs Locklear. She entered into her heavenly home on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Eric Teague, granddaughter, Christina Hunt, her siblings Rev. Edmond Locklear, Shelby Cummings, Kern Locklear, Bernitha Locklear, and Benson Locklear.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband James Walter Teague of the home, her children: James Henry Teague (Martha), Helen Marie Clark (Richard), Deborah Jean Bryant (Kenneth) all of Red Springs, North Carolina; Larry Edward Teague (Teresa) of Shannon, North Carolina; her sister, Geraldine Clark of Red Springs, North Carolina. eleven grandchildren: Jamie, Jenny, Michele, Kimberly, Ashley, Brandon, Heather, Alex, Tina, David, and Amanda. twenty three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
