Mr. Gerald Lowry of Rowland, North Carolina was born on August 19, 1948, in Robeson County to the late Bracey and late Mrs. Snowdie Lowery. He departed this life into his heavenly home, Wednesday October 02, 2024, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, North Carolina completing his journey of 76 years.
He is preceded in death by four sisters, Kathy Bullard, Polly Bullard, Evelyn Lowery, and Rachel Locklear. five brothers, Britt Carl Lowery, Billy Ray Lowery, Bracey Terry Lowery, Neil Lowery, and Bobby Dean Lowery, and Baby Girl Audrey Lowry and granddaughter, Kiyah Lynn Lowry.
He was a journeyman electrician, a farmer and loved to hunt and fish. Some of his best times was spending with his boys, working on their hot rod mustangs. He had come to enjoy raising chickens and loved being a chicken daddy. He loved the Lord and would often visit Pembroke Center nursing home for their Sunday Worship Services.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 54 years, Audry Lowry; two sons, Phillip Gerald Lowry of the home, Christopher Lynn Lowry and wife Chasity of Rowland. Two granddaughters, Savannah Renee Lowry (Cody) and Lana Marie Lowry. One great-granddaughter, Nahavah Jade Ransom, six sisters, Sandra Hunt, Lillian Carter, Thelma Deeringwater, Molly Hunt, Betty Ann Carter, Rita Faye Lowery, one brother, Earl Lowery. A dear friend, C Bolt and a host of other relatives and friends.
