Mr. Garry "Cotton" Dial age, 67 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on May 5, 1958, to the late Rev. Claudie Dial and the late Mrs. Essie Mae Bryant Dial in Scotland County, North Carolina. He departed this life on March 18, 2026, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Gayle Dial, grandchild, Landon Jacob Dial, two brothers, Elisha Dial and Dozier Ray Dial, two sisters, Aleatha Locklear and Sarah Locklear, a nephew, Brandon "Big B" Locklear.

Mr. Garry leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Linda Dial, one son: William Robert Dial, Companion: Gloria Dial, one brother: Samuel Dial, three sisters: Dorothy Hammonds, Gwen Locklear, and Ethel Mae Rogers, seven grandchildren: William Lathan Dial, Zada Lynn Dial, Londen Jada Dial, Randy Dial, Kayden Dial, Kristy Dial, William Ray Troublefield, one great grandchild: Kameron Dial, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
