Mrs. Frances Ross Oxendine Smith age 75 was born on April 27, 1945 to the late Mr. Charlie Oxendine and Mrs. Allie Mae Locklear Oxendine in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life to eternity on Friday, November 20, 2020 at First Health Hospice House, West End, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Delton Oxendine and Charlie (Belton Jr.) Oxendine.

Mrs. Frances leaves to cherish her memories her husband Jerald Smith, two sons Jerald Smith Jr. and Charles Locklear, three daughters Annette Smith Krobath, Jeraldine Smith and Terry Lynn Locklear, her mother, Mrs. Allie Mae Locklear Oxendine, two brothers Melton (Buddy) Oxendine and Charles Ervin Oxendine, five sisters Cathleen Rumsey, Gaynell Dial, Victoria Darlene Lowery, Virginia Bell and Patricia Locklear, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
