Mr. Everton (Booster) Chavis Jr. age 63 of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina was born on February 10, 1959, to the late Everton Chavis and the late Walter Mae Woods Chavis in Scotland County, North Carolina. He departed this life on May 26, 2022, at Southeastern Hospice House, Lumberton, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by one brother, Mr. Larry Chavis, and his stepfather, Mr. Glen Hunt.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Blackwell Chavis of the home, and one son, Mr. Derrick Chavis of Rex, North Carolina. Two Daughters: Nicole Chavis of the home and Tiffany Chavis (Charles) of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina. Two Brothers: Mr. Charles Chavis of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina, and Mr. Stevie Chavis of Rex, North Carolina. Six Sisters: Glenda Munoz of Pennsylvania, Vivian Chavis of Butner, North Carolina, Janice Blackwell of California, Sylvia Puckett, and Annette Chavis, both of Tennessee, Maggie Ann Williams of Rockingham, North Carolina. Six Grandchildren: Cassandra Lynn, Everton, Hanna, Hailey, Makayla, and Ava along with a host of other relatives and friends,
