Edward Brayboy

Mr. Edward Brayboy age 72 of Rowland, North Carolina was born on August 15, 1952, to the late James Brayboy and the late Clara Locklear Brayboy in Scotland Conty, North Carolina. He departed this life into eternity on Sunday, October 06, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Edward was a family man, that kept the fun going. He encouraged everyone through a joke. He enjoyed raising chickens. His joy and pride were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed meeting people and never met a stranger.

Mr. Edward leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 52 years Hazel Locklear Brayboy of the home, two daughters: Vinita Locklear (Kris), Rose Dial (Kevin) all of Maxton, North Carolina, three brothers: Landis Brayboy (Marilyn), Gene Alan Brayboy (Cheryl), James Carlie Brayboy all of Rowland, North Carolina, one sister: Pattie Locklear (Mitchell) of Rowland, North Carolina, two sister-in-law: Sylvia Onate of Maxton, North Carolina, Barbara Locklear of Rowland, North Carolina, and Thomas Locklear, whom Ed felt like a father figure to.  three grandchildren: Quentine Locklear (Bethany), Faustine Locklear (Coty), Kolin Dial, three great grandchildren: Hunter Locklear, Harper Locklear, Hazely Locklear, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
