Doris Woods

Mrs. Doris McBryde Woods, age 73, daughter of the late Mr. John Wesley McBryde, Sr., and the late Mrs. Lula Mae McEachin McBryde was born February 9, 1952 in the Flora College Community of Maxton, North Carolina. 

Doris was a member of the Red Springs Gleaners #382 Order of the Eastern Stars and was a member until her passing.  

She is survived by her husband, James "June Bug" Woods, of the home. Beloved daughter, Jaime A. Woods (David) of Red Springs, NC. Four grandsons: De’trell D. D. Woods (Summer) of Red Springs, NC.  Jalik D. Woods (Tiffany) of South Carolina, Ja’Khary A. Woods (Elgie) of the home, and Ja’Marcos A. Woods of the home.

Special great grandson that she loved dearly: Kaiden R. Woods.

Three sisters, Sue Ann Flythe of Red Springs NC, Shearlie McBryde of Red Springs, NC, and Eva Sullivan of Red Springs, NC.

One brother, Elder David McBryde Cannon of Salisbury, NC.

Special brother and sisters-in-laws, Bernard Murray, Carrie Murray, Sarah Woods, and Rhonda McBryde, all of Red Springs, NC, and Beverly McBryde, of Norfolk VA.

Special nieces and nephews, Fatina McBryde, Shearline Flythe, Davonne Robinson (Jonathon), Davita Cannon, Labretta McBryde, Earlicia McBryde, Rolanda McBryde, Shanice Flythe, Delsie McBryde, Lorraine McBryde, Sherry Flythe, Cary Flythe, Perry Flythe (Tanette), Derrick Pittman, Jr., and Jayante McBryde.

Special Son by Love: David Warren (Jaime).
