Doris Locklear

Mrs. Doris Locklear age 79 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on July 25, 1945, to the late Guy Jones and the late Annie Clark Jones in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on February 19, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her baby son Ken Locklear, her siblings Melvin Jones, Reginald Jones, Guy Jones Jr., Eugene Jones, Mary Chavis, Annie Lois Locklear, and Annie Ruth Locklear.

Mrs. Doris leaves to cherish her memories two brothers: Mitchell Jones of Maxton, North Carolina, Ronald Jones (Patsy) of Pembroke, North Carolina, three sisters: Betty Locklear (Haven), Doreather Esquibel (Angel), Judy Locklear (Cordell) all of Maxton, North Carolina, Special nieces and nephews she helped raise: Brandie Mendoza (Agustin), Andy Locklear, Donovan Bowen, great nieces and nephews: Abian Mendoza, Aiden Mendoza, Lidia Mendoza, Hannah Locklear, James Austin Mendoza, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
