Mr. Donald also known as the "pumpman" who came from the most humbled beginnings was the second born of nine siblings. His demonstration of hard work and professionalism was admired by many. A few of his most notable achievements was being the first Native American hired at Burlington Textile Industries in 1963. After working over a decade with Burlington Industries Donald began working with Mr. Big John Carthens deep well drilling for farms, businesses and large companies requiring large amounts of water from 4" deep wells. Mr. John referred Donald to do home wells and helped him become established successfully in the well business because he admired the hard work, honesty, dedication and pride that Donald put in his work. Donald recognized that it was God's grace putting the right people in his life at the right time. He would say time and time again if it had not been for the Lord he could have not achieved any of these great life accomplishments.
