Mr. Dial Ray "Don" Knights age 65 of Pembroke, North Carolina was born on January 18, 1959, to the late Thomas Knights and the late Alberta Ransom in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on May 13, 2024, at Novant Health New Hanover Medical Center, Wilmington, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Cheryl Joan Knight, brothers Jimmy Knight and Thomas "Pittsburgh" Knight, mother-in-law Clementine Locklear, father-in-law Quincy Locklear.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Lorie Carr, three sons: David Locklear (Denise), Andrew Carr, Tommy Knight, two daughters: Patsy Jacobs (James "Tadpole"), Dorothy Worriax (Willie Porter), his pride and joy: Joshua Jacobs and Maelena Jacobs, five sisters: Porscha Ransom Watts, Carol Jean Cummings (Gary), Anna Faye Knight, Vinnie Sue Jones, Patricia Ann Hammonds, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a special sister-in-law: Patsy Ruckle (Mike), a special friend: Jeff Kline, his work family at Swing Transport, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
